on click event on custom button

Question

Hi Everyone, 
 i am using suit crm, i have created a custom button, name of this button is "Submit Transaction" i have to create events on that button like i have to check some validation or link a particular file, 
 i request you all to just suggest me how to give events on that button when i click on button,

Good morning Faizan, SuiteCRM is a fork of SugarCommunity edition which was discontinued several years ago, and I believe is now substantially different from Sugar.
