Time needed to upgrade PHP

We are upgrading our version of PHP. It will be compatiable with Sugar 11.0 which we will be upgrading later. I am project managing the timeline. How long should the actual process take to go from PHP version 7.1.xx to 7.3.xx.

Mark Blaszka that's a loaded question. What OS? What is your level of knowledge of the OS? It can take 15 minutes or it could take a few hours.

For example: On Ubuntu. You would tell the system to download a new version of PHP, remove the old version of PHP and update your apache configuration/ PHP-FPM configuration.

All of the above can be done in 15 minutes if you know what you are doing.
