Quote line items bugged 10.3?

We were not able to reproduce such an issue in either a fresh instance or a instance with customization in Quotes/ Quotes QLI GRID.

This might be a long shot, but doing some digging in old cases I found a similar behavior.

At that time it was related to fetching the current record with:

App.controller.context.get('model').fetch()

Can you check if you are doing something similar on your instance? 

Yes, I saw this before. It was back when Quotes were first moved to sidecar.... I'm trying to find some documentation on it... might take some digging.

I can't find it, but as I recall it was when we first upgraded to sidecar Quotes and it was linked to using Groups in Quotes, I think if you always add a group before adding QLIs then you don't see the problem, you may want to test that.

I'll take another look tonight and see if I can find anything, but unfortunately I am not too hopeful.

Doing a bit more digging, do you have any customization in custom/modules/Quotes/clients/base/views/record/record.js ?

Hum...could you try disabling it and see if you have the same behavior just to clear that out? 

I disabled the customization and it didn't have any effect

Weird, I just added the same custom/modules/Quotes/clients/base/views/record/record.js  to my local instance and now I see duplicated entries: 

With your custom/modules/Quotes/clients/base/views/record/record.js

Without custom/modules/Quotes/clients/base/views/record/record.js

Did you QRR? 

forgot that one indeed. I can see now that if i Disable the custom record view the issue is gone. Back to the drawing board...

I just found out what I was missing. In the create view i extended from RecordView. Which is normally a good start. In this case however you need to extend from QuotesRecordView. 

In any case this is what you get when you are working on a certain issue for to long i guess
