Drill through not available in Dashlets

Hi SugarClub members,

I am new to SugarClub and learning from the topics already posted here.

My issue is, in one of our Dashboards, there are many dashlets with bar and pie charts, and they are working fine. However, there are a few dashlets with horizontal bar charts which allows Drill through and some which doesn’t. They are using reports which are very similar to each other (Type: Summation with Details) The structure of the reports are the same. The only difference is they are fetching data from different Modules.

Can anyone please suggest whether there is any reason why one dashlet will allow Drill Through and others won't?

NB: We are using SugarCRM Version 10.2.0 (Build 235 E) (Q4 2020) and I have Admin access.

Hi Sanjeev,

I believe Frédéric is on the right track. As you can see here Reports grouped by aggregate DateTime-fields (e.g. Month: Date Created) do support drill-through. Can you confirm if that's your scenario?

Hi Andre,

Thank you for the information. It seems that the GroupBy fields are DateTime & MultiSelect which are the reasons why the Drill through is not available for those dashlets.
