Any possibility to install SugarCRM without ElasticSearch?

Hi,

My last ElasticSearch installation went nightmare , is there any chances to install it without ElasticSearch?

Yes, it is possible by editing a core file prior installation but you may face issue on saving records once Sugar will try to persist such a change into elastic server.

Installing Elasticsearch has became a very simple procedure. Can you kindly describe your pain?

Yeah, I'm with Andre on this one. Install, sure it's possible with a little coding but it will be unusable without some major recoding.

Normally it's a very simple job: Install JAVA, install correct ES version, activate Service.
