A diagonal is randomly chosen from a regular hexagon. Find the probability that it is the longest diagonal.

Option 3 : 1/9

**Concept:-**

Classical concept of probability.

**Formula:-**

Number of diagonals of a polygon = {n (n – 3)}/2

Where n is the number of sides.

**Calculation:-**

Number of diagonals in a hexagon = 6 (6 – 3)/2 = 9

Biggest diagonal of hexagon is the one which joins two opposite corners farthest away.

Probability = 1/9
