How to Copy Values from Lead Form to Convert Lead Form

HI

I want to copy values from the leads form to convert lead form.

For example:

If there is a mobile no. field in the leads and when i want to convert a lead.I want this mobile number to be copied in the covert leads-new contact page-mobile field.

Can any one please provide me insights regarding this.

Hello Anand, When converting a Lead into a Contact and Account, any fields in the Leads module that match fields in Contacts or Accounts, will automatically carry the value from the Lead to the Contact and/or Account record, so long as the field Name matches across the modules. If you navigate to Admin > Studio > Leads > Fields, you will notice that the Name of value of the First Name field is 'first_name'. If your Mobile Number field in Leads has a Name value of 'mobile_phone_c' and the Mobile Number field in Contacts also has a Name value of 'mobile_phone_c', the value will copy from the Lead to the Contact during conversion. As mentioned the field Name values must match, the Display Labels can be different.
