upgrading from 6.5.2 to 7.5.1.0

How do I upgrade from  v6.5.2 to v7.5.1.0 of SugarCRM ?

  • Hello Nelson,

Firstly, you'll need to be using one of the paid versions of SugarCRM, Professional, Enterprise, or Ultimate editions.  Secondly, you'll need to upgrade from 6.5.2 to 6.5.18, .19, or .20.  Once that's completed, please use the upgrade documentation to complete the upgrade process from 6.5.18 (19 or 20) to 7.5.1.0

If you are using Sugar Community Edition, we do not offer an upgrade to Sugar 7 at this time.

  • Hi Dan,

Thanks for the immediate response. Attached is the screenshot of our installed version. It would say we have the paid version not sure if it's Professional or Enterprise or Ultimate editions. We only have a Production instance right now and would like to setup a Test system which would be the same version as our Production. In setting up the TEST instance, is it simply installing SugarCRM 6.5.2 and restoring the MySQL DB (same MySQL version) ? Where can I get the installation file for SugarCRM 6.5.2 for CentOS ?

    Regards,

    Nelson
