I am using 9.3 in Sugarondemand. I want to hide a section of a form base on a checkbox in Contacts so only certain types of contacts have these custom fields displayed. Is this possible?

You can use the dependency framework for that. https://support.sugarcrm.com/Documentation/Sugar_Developer/Sugar_Developer_Guide_9.2/Architecture/Sugar_Logic/Using_Suga…
you should use the setvisibility trigger: https://support.sugarcrm.com/Documentation/Sugar_Developer/Sugar_Developer_Guide_9.2/Architecture/Sugar_Logic/Dependency…
Another way would be to extend the record.js (custom/modules/<module>/clients/<platform>/views/record/record.js and to hide certain fields using jquery.
SetVisibility appears only to work for fields. Can you use the dependency framework to hide panels?

Hi Levi Reeves,
Yes you can hide/show panel based on the field value in SugarCRM. Please go through this link to know more about how to hide/show panel using SetPanelVisibility.
