Sugar Market A/B testing in Nurture 2.0?

Hi all,

I am looking to carry out some A/B testing but within a nurture I have set up in Market.

Currently users submit a form, which then takes an action to send them to the nurture which sends them an email and finally pushes them to CRM.

However, I would like to try a different variant of the email to see if it has any impact on conversion further down the sales funnel.

This is not a feature that seems to be supported in Sugar Market nurture programs currently - is there another way in which I can split my submissions easily to conduct a test?

Also - are there any plans to introduce this feature? It would be incredibly useful and would be interested to see if any others have a need for this.

Thanks

James

  • Hi James!

I appreciate you reaching out to us and sharing your use-case. It's an excellent question, and I'm happy to assist you with this.

Currently, our Nurture feature doesn't have an A/B setting that splits the audience into two separate campaigns evenly. However, we have several options within a Nurture that could help achieve a similar goal.

One of our Nurture ready-to-go themes is the 'promotional subject swap.' After the first email campaign, based on if the recipients clicked or opened the email, you could send them to a follow-up campaign with similar content but with different subject lines. This could help you test which subject line works better with your audience.

Another idea is to gather the recipients after the initial email and send them a single email campaign as an A/B test. However, based on your goals, I think the first option would be a better fit.

While this particular feature isn't on our near-term roadmap, it's definitely a great idea that we can file on our team for consideration in the future!

Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

    Best regards,
