Mass Updating Records to Populate Field in Subpanel

Question

I'm looking for ideas on a way to solve a problem I've run up against. I have 2 new fields that have been added to a custom subpanel on our Account records. They only populate after a related record has been updated in some manner. I'm wondering if there is a good way to force a mass update of the related records to force the population of the 2 fields or if it needs to happen organically as records are updated. 
 The fields I'm referring to in the image below are the Pipeline Stage and Action Stage of the Projects subpanel.

Hi Holiday Van Erem 
 f those 2 fields are calculated fields, you can go to the list view of your Projects module, tick the select all check box and then the dropdown will give you the option to recalculate fields.

You can run this for up-to 1,000 records at a time by clicking the 'Select all records' 
 
 If you have way more than 1,000 Project records, you can also use the import feature and choosing to update records instead of creating new. 
 This method is also good if those fields are not calculated fields.
