Remove Converted from Lead statuses

Hi,

why is the Status "Converted" available in the Status picklist of a Lead?

Users may select it, but not really converting the lead, and this creates confusion.

How to avoid it? Is it possible to remove the "Converted" status? Any sollution?

    I recommend to use the role-based dropdown feature to remove the 'Converted' option for users to select.

    1. Go to Admin > Studio > Leads > Fields > Status
    2. Click 'Edit' for the lead_status_dom dropdown
    3. Change the 'Role' dropdown to a role you have assigned to your users responsible for managing leads
      Note: If you currently don't use roles to manage access, I recommend creating a new role and assigning all the users who manage leads to the role
    4. Uncheck the box for the 'Converted' status and click 'Save'
    5. Do steps 3 & 4 for any remaining roles associated with users who manage leads.

    Once this is done, users will not be able to manually select the 'Converted' status. They will still be able to convert leads, see the 'Converted' status when it is set, and search for leads in this status.
