Hey all,
Is there a way to send a report to colleagues NOT being SugarCRM users ? So by simply using their email address ?
Thanks for any info on this,
Hugo

Hi Chris,
Thanks again for the feedback. I checked for the group user to be in the default list of my sandbox setup and it is. But still, it doesn't show up in that build filter list.
However, I'll have to talk with our IT department since the group users doesn't appear for selection in our QA version (pre Production setup for testing before go live), but those users DO show up in my 'sandbox' setup for developing stuff. For the latter I have full admin rights. In QA I'm only a 'super user'.
I'll come back to you if I can find out the differences between the two environments...
:-)
Bye now
Hugo
Hi Chris Raffle Is there any reference material available? I've noticed that a report will only be sent to a group user via a schedule if it's assigned to the Global team. Could this be related to team permissions preventing the report from sending, as you suggested in a previous comment?
Hi Christopher Hart ,
I'm unaware of any specific reference material describing this functionality, so I can't speak to whether your issue is by design. I recommend filing a case with Sugar Support to see if they can provide clarity.
Chris
Hi Hugo, we had this ask early on. We first created a shared email address in Outlook. We used this shared email address to create a user in Sugar. When creating the report scheduler, we added this user to the user subpanel. When the report sent out, we set up outlook rules on what distribution lists to send it to depending on the report. This allowed for reports to go to those not in sugar and it has been working for us for a couple of months now.
Thanks Joseph, that's indeed also a good idea.
