End-user with Admin status cannot access contacts in database.

Hi there.

I'm posting on behalf of the user's account, I'm with the company's internal IT dept.

Clicking names changes the URL in the address bar, but the browser does not navigate to it, tested on 4 machines. Is it an account issue?

  • You could try resetting the user's preferences.  Open the User Profile and click Reset User Preferences.

  • Suzana,

    Some questions for you:

    1. Is this happening only for this one user, or for all users?
    2. If it is only happening for one user, are they able to view the contacts if they use a different browser?
    3. Are there any JavaScrpt Console errors?  (If using Chrome, you can right-click on the browser and select "Inspect Element", then click on the Console tab).

  • Hi Lori,

It's definitely an account thing.  I just obtained the account info for another account, this group's main admin account, and it works.

The way the names are listed is different as well, but that could just be preferences.  There are titles before the names like Ms. or Mr.

I'll have to discuss this with the group to see who's managing Sugar, and what accounts were purchased etc.

Unless you guys have an idea now.  Permission?

  • Any other ideas?

I'm meeting with the person responsible for managing the Sugar accounts today internally, but I'd like to ask once more if there's anything else you can think of.

    Thank you.
