How to sync Sugar contacts into Lotus Notes?

Platform Sugar Enterprise 7.2, Lotus Notes 8.5, Lotus Notes Connector Widget 2.0

Would someone provide the instructions for how to sync Sugar Contacts into Lotus Notes?  I'm trying to follow these instructions from  the online user guide, but not having any success:

  Syncing Sugar Contacts to Notes
Sugar contacts can be synced to Notes by clicking the "Sync to Outlook"      or "Sync to mail client" checkbox (depending on the version of Sugar       you are using) from a Sugar contact's record view.

I cannot find the checkbox identified in the instructions.  Would someone please point me in the proper direction?

  • Hello Michael,

If you navigate to Admin > Studio > Contacts > Layouts > Record View, on the left hand side of the page is a list of all the fields in Contacts that are not added to the Record View layout.  On the right is a representation of the Record View layout.

You can try searching this page (CTRL-F or Command-F) for 'Sync' or 'Outlook' or 'Mail Client'.  It is possible to change the label of the fields, so if the field has been renamed, it may not show up in the results.  If you don't find it, please let me know.  If you do find it in the left hand side, I'd recommend making a space for it on the Record View layout and re-adding it, then use 'Save & Deploy' to apply your changes.
