I have more details to share in the hopes of finding an answer, or at least to point me in the rigiht direction.
1. also missing from the create new meeting tab is scheduling panel
2. and there is a bug with the "reminder" drop down box in the main panel. Instead of showing the drop down box, the value associated with the default value of the drop down box is shown (3600, which is 60 minutes)
