Adding newly created email template to workflow

I created a custom email template but when I try to select it when creating a workflow it does not show in the selection. What do i need to do to get the newly created email template available for selection in the workflow?

    As Noah mentioned, there are several places to create an email template in Sugar, but for workflows, you must create the template via Admin > Workflow Management > Alert Email Templates.


    Next, be sure that the template and the workflow definition share the same target module. For example, if you are creating a workflow for the Leads module, the Workflow Alert Email Template must have a target module of "Leads".
