What plans are there for disaster recovery In Sugar's On-Demand data centers?

I'm looking for information about where the SugarCRM data centers are located and what their disaster recovery strategy is. Anyone know where I can find this information?

Thanks

  • Hi Mike,

Sugar is in the process of a major hosting upgrade that moves us from leased data centers into the Amazon cloud.  Every aspect of our new cloud hosting platform has been built to span multiple Availability Zones so that we can survive the failure of a single data center.  In this environment, we also perform nightly encrypted backups to Amazon S3 so that even in a catastrophic multi-zone failure we could rebuild in another region.  This environment has already begun rolling out and will be phased in transparently for existing customers over the course of 2015.  For specific details on the environment in which your Sugar On-Demand instance is hosted, you can contact our support department.

    Thanks!
