Cannot see the filter I used for a dashlet?

Hi all,

I created a dashlet that filters open cases that have a certain tag.  However, when I click the gear on the top right of that dashlet and choose "edit", I don't see the filter I created - instead, I see this:

I've got to be doing something wrong - the dashlet does work, and I hit "cancel" from here and see the appropriate cases, but why can't I see the filter I used to get that list??

  • Hi Elisabeth, you're right that the filter is saved. The difference is just that you didn't give the filter a name, so it saved it with the name "Dashlet: My Cases" for you. See my test here:

    If you click the blue box containing that text, it will open the filter editor fields again and you can see the textfield where you can enter the filter name. You can rename it and save the dashlet again so it shows what you want the filter to be called.
