Update custom.less file without overriding original file

Hi there !

I have a question regarding the custom.less file. I already did some modifications on our customer's instance within the custom.less file.

I will upload a plugin that we did with some custom style within the custom.less file. When I uplaod my package the original custom.less is overriden. How can I manage to avoid this problem? Is there a way to create another XXX.less file that will be loaded ?

Hi Enes,

In my experience, that is the only place you can set a custom.less file. It would definitely be nice for this to be added to the extension framework (Rafael Fernandes ). You can use javascript to add in additional .CSS files in sugar but you obviously lose the benefits of compiling the .less changes when doing so.

Yes it would be a nice enhancement request. Could you please add that idea to our portal?

But for now, you'd have to maintain or make some sort of maneuver through pre-install to have your code appended to the current custom.less file.
