Link Quotes (Projects and sub projects)

I am curious if anyone has an ideas on how we might be able to link quotes together when there are multiple as part of one project. For example, we may have a starting contract and then 3 to 4 quotes might be done which we later find out are to be part of that same contract. We can add the contract number and search by it to find all with the same number but I am wondering if anyone might have another approach or a more visual way to represent it. Almost like projects and sub projects.

    Hi ,

    I had a similar desire to create a link for multiple records in a different module.  My first approach was similar to yours creating new text field (named "Related To") then populating it with the "Common Name" in each of the related records. I set the new field as searchable and available in the List View.  It's a bit cumbersome. 

    If I were going to do it over, I'd set a relationship (One to Many) within the module - Just like it is in the Accounts Module for Related Accounts.  This would allow a Record to be the "master" and all of the related records to appear in a Sub-Panel.
