Best solution for the 360° view in Sugar Mobile: custom dashlets, HTML field, other?

We're trying to improve the 360° view in one of our customer's CRM. While teh standard related record subpanels are nice, in some cases we need to present the information differently. In this project we have used custom dashlets in the intelligence pane and also HTML fields in the business card (eg data tables). 

However, none of these solutions work in the mobile app: 

1. Custom dashlets are not available

2. HTML fields do not show up on the front end, although we've added them in the Studio on the "mobile detail view" layout

What have you used in your projects? Any suggestion?

    You could try to use Mobile SDK to extend a standard mobile client and add your own dashlets.

    It definitely works. We have used this way to solve a similar task and get the possibility to see TimeLine Viewer dashlets on mobile.

    Of course, this way requires a specific deployment procedure and further support of the new mobile app, especially when your customer uses iPhone. With Android, it's quite easier.

    I think the other way could be not so user-friendly but more chipper. You can add fields with an active URL to external sources (website or another mobile app) that show necessary data.

    Thank you for your feedback. I was hoping for a less cumbersome solution :( Creating a custom app would require heavy maintenance for a need that feels quite simple (from a distance). 

    In your case, how long did it take to implement that? 

    Finally, providing a link to another site/app would defeat the 360° view purpose, so we'll skip that one too. 

    I'll open a case on the support portal, if only to add our voice to an ER.
