In Sugar Mobile 33.0, which went live in June (see the Android and iOS release notes), we added push notifications in the app for record assignments and comment log mentions. This was restricted only to eligible instances, with one of the criteria being that your Sugar instance must be hosted in the cloud in the US West (Oregon) region. The list of supported regions has now been expanded in version 38.0 so more mobile users can now take advantage of push notifications!
Here is the list of regions that are now supported:
- ap-southeast-1: Asia Pacific (Singapore)
- ap-southeast-2: Asia Pacific (Sydney)
- eu-central-1: Europe (Frankfurt)
- us-west-2: US West (Oregon)

There is also an easy way to tell in the app if your instance is eligible - the Notification Settings link will be displayed in the main menu:
