Sugar’s User Experience team understands that not everyone approaches learning in the same way. Some users enjoy diving right in and learning as they go, while other users prefer to do their research before trying something new.
For the latter, Sugar 10.1 includes several feature announcements that are presented once to each user to direct them to the documentation for new features. Admins will see a guide on shifts and Round Robin actions when accessing the Process Definitions list view and all users will see a guide on shifts when accessing the Shifts list view. We are including these to bring awareness to new functionality and provide the information needed to quickly take advantage of these new capabilities.
We will continue to evaluate the usefulness of guides and announcements as a way to assist users in future releases.
