Sugar Enterprise 12.0 is Now Available

SugarCRM is excited to announce the release of Sugar Enterprise 12.0 for on-site customers.

Coinciding with the Q2 2022 release of Sugar Sell and Sugar Serve, the Sugar 12.0 annual release incorporates features and enhancements from the preceding Sugar Cloud quarterly releases (Q3 2021, Q4 2021, and Q1 2022). In addition, this release introduces exciting changes to help our customers eliminate blind spots, minimize busy work, and remove roadblocks. The best part is that we’re just getting started and will continue to enhance Sugar Enterprise with more capabilities that let the platform do the work. Read more about these changes in the blog post, Taking the Sugar Platform to the Next Level.

In the video below,  (Chief Technology Officer),  (Senior Product Marketing Manager), and I discuss key, recently introduced features across the entire Sugar customer experience landscape:

  • hi
yes, very useful links, thank you.

Seems main differences are all related to features that rely on AI capabilities.

There are a couple within the Security section that seem odd omissions:

    • Session Timeout Management
    • User-Impersonation for admins

What are the chances of getting these inclused into Enterprise?

  • You're correct, those are some of the main differentiators now between Sell and Enterprise from that guide.

These differences are not so much a difference between the products, but instead the deployments. Sell is hosted in SugarCloud and Enterprise is now hosted only on-premises. The features you're referring to are available in SugarCloud (SugarIdentity covers the session timeout and impersonation features, SugarPredict for the AI capabilities). Other than functions only available in SugarCloud, basically all Sell Advanced features are included in Enterprise.
