Contact Mass Update

Hi Sugar Club,

Performing a Contacts Mass Update based on a report, the requirement is - the form must contain First Name, Last Name, Email and Contact ID.

The report I want to use for mass updating shows in step 1 which indicates that the report does have the required fields.

However when I click on Submit for Review I get an Error! Report selected does not contain one of fields required.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong?

    Hi Justin,

    You'll want to make sure that the Display Names for those columns are also listed as First Name, Last Name, Email, Contact ID. If you are using a report view that references additional tables besides just contacts, for example viewAccountContact, then the display names will show as Contacts.ContactID, etc. which could possibly cause that error. 

    Alternatively, you can do a list import to overwrite a particular field/value. We would look at the email address in that case to make the connection to existing records.
