Email templates

Hi, 

How do I edit the self-made templates that are stored here? When creating a new campaign:

I have been looking for them under manage -> campaings -> email templates and manage -> camapaigns -> single emails but there are no sign of anything with the same names as the ones that can be found according to the picture above. 

It's also the other way around, the templates stored under manage -> campaigns -> email templates can't be found through the menu (shown in the picture).

How does this work? Is it even possible to edit those templates?

  • Hi Emelie!

    The Template tab in your image is for Email Builder 2.0. Currently, there isn't a separate manage area for 2.0 templates yet. So when you go to Manage>Campaigns>Email Templates, those are all for Email Builder 1.0. 

    Any templates on that tab cannot be edited or deleted. You can select one and build upon it, but when you save it, it will save as a new version.

    In order to create a 2.0 template and be able to go back to edit it, I would recommend instead of using "Save As Template", you save it as an email draft instead by clicking the green "Save" button at the bottom of the screen. That way, you can go Manage>Campaigns>Single Emails to pull up the draft and continue editing. Once you have a finalized version, you can then "Save As Template" so that it appears in the Template tab.

    It is currently on the product roadmap to update the 2.0 templates. I hope this helps!
