Take Two - Sales Intelligence from Sugar Market

I am having some real frustrations with Sugar Market after choosing it earlier this year.

Check out this document and I would love other users of Sugar Market, and even better Sugar Sell and Sugar Market combined, to give me input.

Thank you.

  • Hi John,

I'm sorry to hear you are having some frustrations. We appreciate you sharing your thoughts and putting together the summary of the experience through the eyes of a salesperson. This is always incredibly helpful for our product teams when reviewing requests from customers. I do know that the integration between Sugar Sell and Sugar Market is high on our priority list for enhancements in 2021 and planning for that work is underway. I will make sure that your message reaches them, and I'll also take this back to our teams to see how else we can assist in the meantime.

I know you've been working closely with the team here at Sugar on these challenges, but discussing how others have solved similar challenges in Club is a great way to get others' perspectives. Since your topics are product focused, it may be best to ask in the Explore area of SugarClub, which focuses on product-specific questions. I'm happy to move these posts there to help gain more response from other members.

    Thank you!

  • Thank you. I guess I didn't know about Explore, and don't know what the difference is between Explore and Engage Your Peers.

  • Hi John,

You're welcome! The Explore area is solely focused on our products, so you can find Q&A, Best Practices, and Product Suggestions there. This is also where we post Product Updates when there are new releases.

We have received that same feedback about Engage and Explore since launching SugarClub in August, and we are working on changes right now to make the difference more clear. After the first of the year we'll be updating the Engage area to only include Sugar & Partner News, Events, and will be launching User Groups. All product and workflow related posts will be located in the Explore area. The Learn group will continue to be our hub for education, training, and certification, but we'll also be enhancing that area to include a content library focused on helping customers get the most out of their Sugar products. We've already started on that by launching a series of Quick Video Tutorials. We are also planning some homepage updates to help customers find information more quickly and easily.

I'm glad to see you're an active member of Club. The more folks we have asking and answering questions, the better resource our community will become. So thank you for posting! I've already been working on some of your questions above with the team and we'll be in touch 1:1 with some additional updates soon.

    Thanks again!
