Syncing contacts and leads to Market

Hey!

Is it possible to limit which leads / contacts are synced to Market?

My customer wants, if possible, to be able to choose which leads / contacts they want to sync from CRM into Market

  • Hi Alex,

You can filter what data is synced to Sugar Market from CRM by using an Auto Deletion Report. These reports are simply custom reports that are adapted and added to the integration. Any records that meet the criteria/filters on the report will not be synced over to Market.

You can either filter off existing data in fields, for example if 'Status' equals 'Invalid'. Or you could use a custom field. In CRM you would mass update all the records you do not want in Market to have a particular value. This will flag up these records and they can then be found using the custom report filters. If you are using the second method I would recommend doing this before the integration begins.

    I hope this info helps,

  • Thanks . I would like to add a question on this point regarding "contacts" definition for SugarMarket pricing. These contacts who will be synced in SugarMarket are the number of contacts you pay for right? It's the definition of "Contacts" for the price book right? It means contacts you sync in SugarMarket to follow interactions right? Thanks.

  • Hi Stephane,

In Sugar Market the definition of "contacts" for pricing is any mailable record that exists in the Sugar Market database. This would be any lead or contact with an email address that is not unsubscribed and not undeliverable. You can find your current Database Size for Subscription under Standard Reports>Contacts>Database Size for Subscription.
