SugarCRM has released version 4.0.1 of Hint. Hint is a Relationship Intelligence service that scans the internet to provide detailed information about business contacts and companies. Data such as social media accounts, work information, and company details are visible for Hint users based on only names and email information. Users can also quickly import the enhanced data into the Sugar with a single click.
Hint 4.0.1 address issues identified in prior releases. More information about this release, including details of fixes to can be found in the Hint 4.0.1 Release Notes. To ensure that installed fixes take effect after upgrading your Hint installation, all users should clear their browser cache and then log out and back into Sugar. A Quick Repair and Rebuild often resolves issues if other integrations are affected by the installation or upgrade of Hint.
Customers hosted in the Sugar cloud will have their version of Hint upgraded to version 4.0.1 automatically. Installation and usage documentation for Hint can be found at the following links:
Hint is supported for use on Sugar versions 7.9.x and above. Please review the Supported Platforms for Hint before installing.
Hint can be purchased by contacting your Sugar sales representative. If your instance is hosted in Sugar's cloud environment, Hint will automatically be installed after purchase. If your instance is hosted elsewhere, an admin user must download the Hint package and install it to your instance.
