How to Apply a New or Updated Scoring Profile to All Records in Sugar Market

Hello Sugar Market Administrators,

If you've recently created or updated a scoring profile, you may have noticed that it doesn't automatically apply to all existing Leads and Contacts. Instead, scores are updated as individuals take scorable actions—like opening an email, clicking a link, or visiting a webpage—based on your profile configuration.

But what if you want to retroactively apply the new or updated scoring profile to your entire database? While the "ReScore All" button was temporarily removed due to performance issues, there's still a way to accomplish this using Mass Update.

How to Force a Rescore for All Leads & Contacts using Mass Update

To ensure all your records reflect the latest scoring criteria, follow these steps:

  • Navigate to: Admin > CRM Administrator > Data > Mass Update Contacts
  • Check the box for Update All Contacts.
  • Select the column
  • Set the value as -1. (This means "Pending Rescore.")
  • Save the update – This triggers all Leads and Contacts to be rescored according to the current profile settings.

Note: Using Mass Update will rescore ALL active scoring profiles at the same time. If changes have been made to more than 1 scoring profile, all changes will take effect at the same time without having to repeat this process.

The user that initiated the Mass Update will receive an email confirmation when the Mass Update process has been completed.

Please refer to the video below for a one minute demonstration of these steps.

Once you’ve completed these steps, Sugar Market will process the updates, applying your new scoring logic across all records.
