When a custom package is not installed properly in the SugarCRM module loader. Is there any way to remove all files and folders and custom fields from SugarCRM?

Hello Everyone,

When I installed my custom package in the module loader sometimes it fails to install properly in SugarCRM. After some time I try the same but the error was populated like reqiure_once('modules/<module_name>/<files_name>.php') or in the SugarCRM log the message will be related to the database (Cannot Alter table fields) and some times cannot able to copy the files afterward. Is there any possible way of rollback that was with the manifest file that when it is not installed properly it removes each and every file from SugarCRM and custom fields from the database and SugarCRM also?

Hi Kishan,

When this happens, I find it's easiest to run a sql query on the instance to flag the package as installed in the upgrade_history table. Once that's complete, you can run the uninstall to remove any files that were left behind. If you are on sugarcloud, you will either need to provide the query to sugar support or install a second package that runs the query for you.

When this happens, I find it's easiest to run a sql query on the instance to flag the package as installed in the upgrade_history table. Once that's complete, you can run the uninstall to remove any files that were left behind. If you are on sugarcloud, you will either need to provide the query to sugar support or install a second package that runs the query for you.
