Two way fields

Is it possible to create a pair of two way fields. In quotes we would like to have two fields. One of them a user can input the percent margin (as a whole number) the other the user can input the price in $s we would like to make. I want both of these fields to calculate themselves if one of them is filled in. 

For example if I fill in the percent margin the price needed to be charged should calculate. If I put in the Price I'd like to charge the margin should calculate. I have the formulas written out for both these fields I'd just like to make editable somehow while still retaining the formula in Sugar.

    If you would prefer to make it with no coding, I think the Studio is simpler for solving this case than configuring logic hooks with the Logic Builder:

    I don't mean to be rude, but I think it would be nice if you could be more specific in your answers and explain that your proposed solutions involve the purchase of a third party tool that you are selling.

    I am sure there are people interested in buying it, but it seems unfair to make people search for something that's not there.

    I for one I wondered if I had missed some new tool that Sugar added in later versions or if this was a tool available in a higher tier from the one I have...

    So the short answer is yes, it is possible, but it requires some code level modifications.

    Let me know if you are interested in getting into more detail on how to approach this via code and I can try to summarize what we did for our quotes. I don't think I have one the goes both-ways but if you can do it one way, I don't see why you shouldn't be able to do it both ways. :)

    Okay, I'll try to be more specific when providing solutions with configuring.

    This solution configuration is performed solely with Studio, which is, in fact, an out-of-the-box no-code tool developed by SugarCRM and provided in SugarCRM for the regular subscription cost.

    Logic Builder is an Integros-made cloud tool for deep SugarCRM behavior configuring. Logic Builder was released more than 4 years ago and demonstrated many times at Sugar on-site events. The tool is of use in numerous cases for Sugar Admins and CRM consultants that have no coding skills - e.g. more than 50 challenges that were posted in the SugarClub during the last few months, could be solved with configuring instead of coding - with Logic Builder.
    Since Logic Builder is not provided with Sugar, Integros charges cloud access to the logic drawing environment yearly, while solutions are absolutely free in exploitation once designed.

    I hope this explanation helps to understand what no-code tools Sugar Admins and Sugar Partners can rely on while looking for cost-effective solutions
