True. My recommendation would require a re-save on all the records to recalculate those values on a daily basis, which is not a good option. It looks like there may need to be some code-level customizations that need to occur here in order to perform this task.

Good idea but I will probably run into trouble with a calculated field since it is only update when the record is updated (see --> https://community.sugarcrm.com/thread/27047 ) ?

Meaning, the update of a calculated field is contingent on the record being saved/updated rendering the whole idea useless. Or am I thinking this too narrow?

Kristjan,

One thought is that you may be able to do this by creating a custom field that adds the days between the two dates, then filter on that custom field. I haven't tested this out yet and won't be able to until later today, but thought I would mention it if you wanted to play around with the idea until then.

To answer your question, yes, this would be a feature request. I do not see one for this type of request submitted to our Products team yet.
