Update function is grey out when try to update record using Select Report in Excel

Hello CY, 

If I understand the scenario correctly I believe you need to select 'Query Wizard' and do the following: 

1. In the 'Query Wizard' panel, select the module = Opportunities
2. Select the rows to update
3. The update button should be available now

Thanks for the suggestion. Yes the update function works if  use "Query Wizard". I would like to check if Update function also applicable to "Select Report" function instead of using "Query Wizard".

Referring to the Help file  https://support.sugarcrm.com/Documentation/Plug-ins/MS_Excel_Plug-in/MS_Excel_Plug-in_User_Guide/#Best_Practices_for_Updating_Records_via_the_Sugar_Plug-in_for_Excel - it shows the steps to update record after select the pre-created report from SugarCRM, however, the update function is grey out when i use 'select report' function. 

Any further suggestion?

Thanks for the clarification. 

I can see that in the print screen that you've provided you are using the 'display label'. Can you try replacing it for the database value and check if it helps? You can check the values in Studio, for example instead of 'Opportunity Name' should be 'name'.

The other consideration is that you are updating fields in Tags, that's another module so I don't think this will work. 

I would try updating just the fields in the Opportunities module to check if it works, and after that have a look at the following docs on how to import relationships:

You might want to try updating the fields in Tags with a different report on Tags module.
