Sugar 10 will enter the Security-Only Support phase beginning October 31, 2021. Security-Only Support means SugarCRM will only provide security-related defect fixes for Sugar 10. Non-security defect fixes and feature enhancements will no longer be provided. The Security-Only Support phase will last for 6 months before Sugar 10’s planned End-of-Support date of April 30, 2022, when all customer support, maintenance patches, and bug fixes for Sugar 10 will cease.
If you are on Sugar 10 you will be affected by this change in support status.
During the Security-Only Support phase, SugarCRM strongly recommends you perform one of the following actions prior to the End-of-Support date on April 30, 2022:
- Migrate to SugarCloud. Migrating to SugarCloud has the benefit of automated product upgrades. Talk to your Sugar or reseller partner sales representative about migrating.
- Upgrade to Sugar 11 (current version 11.0.2), which will be supported until April 30, 2023.
If you cannot migrate to SugarCloud or upgrade to Sugar 11 by April 30, 2022, you should consider Sugar’s Upgrade Transition Program, which can provide extra time to plan an upgrade/migration to a supported platform.
