Lead conversion, addition to Convert Lead makes the view "jump"

We have Ent v14.0.0 on Site deployment.

In Studio we added three custom modules and Tasks to the Lead conversion process (Leads->Layouts->Convert Lead)

If we set "Copy Data" for  those modules the process during leads conversion looks something like:

- select a contact if one is not found
- select an account if one is not found
- All other module panels are open for creation and the view jumps to the very last of the next four modules forcing the user to scroll back up to work them in order

If we don't set "Copy data" on the added modules then it doesn't jump to the bottom:
- select a contact if one is not found
- select an account if one is not found
- all the other module panels are open for creation but the focus remains on the next panel in the order

Users would prefer that the focus move down panel by panel as they progress rather than jumping to the last panel.

Support can't help because this is considered a customization, but we did nothing more than use the provided setups to add a module to the Lead Conversion process and a step to copy the Account, once selected, in an extension of the LeadConvert class within the framework.

Any thoughts on how I can bring the focus back to the next panel instead of it scrolling to the bottom after the Account is selected?
