Check the checkbox audit should be check on the field which you make auditable.

I tried for Custom field but it did not show in Audit . When i changed System field it is showing . I am using SugarCrm Community Edition 6.5

Hello,

It keeps the audit for all the fields (custom and out of the box). You need to save/update a record if you want to see entries in audit table.

Hello Jagjit,

You can duplicate the original Quote and set the quote stage as you want and also set quote number like no 12-R1 quote 12 revised 1 time.

I don't have Advanced Open Sales Quotes. But audit a field, change the value. Then, in mysql, run the following command:

show tables like '%audit';

This will give you a list of the audit tables. Find the one that matches open quotes (e.g. open_quotes_audit) and then run:

select * from open_quotes_audit

You can't create reports from audit logs - if you want a report, you'll have to write a sql query.

Its good to revise the original one. But the important question is... Do you want to track/record he revisions of your quote?

I would revise the original quotation. If you open a new quote, then reporting on (for example) how many quotes weren't turned into sales would get complicated.
