Sugar Module Builder not working

Hi,

since a while I try to use the module builder (starting with sugar 10.x, now sugar 11.x). But I simply fail.

As you can see in screenshots below I create a fresh module with a package.

Now I want to add a field. See screenshot:

But when I click on "Save" nothing happens. :( The field list is like in first screenshots. I tried it with various installations. various versions, various browsers within various operating systems. Always the same.

Can someone explain me, whats going wrong? Why this isn't working?

Hi Rajko,

We recently faced a similar kind of issue on the Sugar 11.0 Enterprise edition. We identified this as a bug and raised the ticket with Sugar. Sugar has confirmed this as Bug 87636. This Bug is fixed in the 11.0.1 release. So If you are also using the Sugar 11.0 version, this issue is related to the same Bug I believe. You will need to upgrade the instance at least to 11.0.1 and Sugar strongly recommend 11.0.2 to get the security fixes that are in 11.0.2.

So I suggest you upgrade to the latest version 11.0.2 for On-Site or if you are using fresh install directly you can install Sugar 11.0.2 version.

Is there a message that appears in PHP error log or in the sugarcrm.log file? And what's your on-prem configuration - php version, database version, etc.?
