Hi Ken,

Glad you're trying it out! The database username and password are both "root".

No, its a VM running in vagrant, it doesnt have a server IP that I know. Its not a remote host or anything, mysql is on the server. I tried 127.0.0.1 but same results.

Hi Kenneth,

Can you try giving the Server IP (where the MySQL is hosted) in the place of hostname instead of localhost? Have you tried this?

This is one of the vagrant stacks on https://app.vagrantup.com/sugarcrm so everything is already installed

Hi Kenneth,

Can you try giving the Server IP (where the MySQL is hosted) in the place of hostname instead of localhost?

Make sure MySQL is properly installed on the server and recheck the installation process.

OK, 10 seconds later after actually reading the docs I see where it gets that directory from... It takes the currect directory that you run vagrant from. Didnt notice that I was in that directory when I started vagrant.
