Record view not updating as expected

Hi, 

I have a question. We have made some changes to the opportunities module for a customer of ours. On our local installation all seems to work as we would expect and fields are visible on the places we expect them to be. So I made a installable containing the fields, labels en record.php changes for the opportunity module and installed it. Now what I see is that on the test environment of that customer the changes are visible in the studio, fields are visible in the studio but they record view is not changed?

I did a check on custom/modules/Opportunities/clients/base/views/record/ if the record.php file was updated by the installer and this is indeed the case. What could be the cause that the record view changes are not visible? I ruled out role based views since they don't use these and when I check them in studio they are the same as the 'default'. 

Even after QRR and removal of the cache directory I can't seem to get it working. Any idea?

btw they are using sugar 8.0.1 on premise Enterprise
