In the next couple of weeks, we will be moving a few of our private Git repositories out of the SugarCRM Github organization to a new SugarCRM Developers Github organization. Nothing will change with the files or the directory structure, etc. All that is changing is the location of the Git repos.
What does this mean for you? Hopefully, not much. If you currently have access to the unit-tests and performance repositories, you will receive an invite to the new sugarcrm-developers Github organization between now and Friday, October 2nd. You will have to accept that invitation in order to access these repositories at the new location. After that, you need to update your local settings to point to the new location by either updating the remote or cloning the new Git repo into a brand new workspace.
The repos that are moving are:
- Unit Tests
- Performance
- Performance Wiki
This change will not affect our public repositories (like Professor M, Building Blocks)
Access to the old repository location will be removed at the end of October. So please take action to accept the invite and set yourself up on the new repository as soon as you see the invitation.
If you don’t have access to these Sugar Dev Tools repositories, you can request access here:
